Greenracks' network backbone is ranked among the top in the nation. Connections ranging from OC192, OC48, and 10GigE (10,000Mbps) form rings around the nation connecting Greenracks' core routers at several major exchange points including, but not limited to:

Our self-healing network architecture virtually eliminates a single failure points. In addition to our own backbone, we also purchase backup transit from multiple providers in multiple locations to ensure that your data will arrive via the shortest possible routes. Because of our backup transit and the many international peers, our network maintains the shortest routes for sending your data all over the world. On an ongoing basis, we are negotiating with the top fiber carriers for new routes, additional backup transit providers, and we are signing on new peering relationships.

Greenracks network utilizes Border Gateway Protocol Version 4 (BGP4) over dark fiber and long haul wavelengths. Router updates are thoroughly tested offline before going into production. Network switches are connected to core routers via fiber.

Greenracks has one of the friendliest peering policies in the industry. We will peer with any network that is connected to one or more of the exchange points that we have in common.

Individually locking cabinets feature standard 19-inch rails, fully vented doors, and a top-mounted fan. This allows Greenracks servers to run in an optimal environment.	Cabinets are keyed to limit access to authorized personnel.	Greenracks facilities are monitored around the clock to ensure physical security.
In the unlikely event of a power failure, our generator will power up within a few seconds, reinforcing the power from the UPS. With refueling contracts, the generator can operate indefinitely.	Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPSs) not only provide clean, conditioned power, but also power your equipment during the time between an unlikely power outage and when the emergency generator becomes active.	Backup batteries power the UPSs so that in the unlikely event of a power outage your servers will keep running.
